Clifford J Parr, 90, went home to be with his Lord on September 1, 2017. Clifford was born May 16,1927 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late James W Parr and Cora E Parr. Clifford was a long distance heavy equipment truck driver for Parr Trucking Co. for over 50 years. He was known to many as "Silver Dollar".
Clifford was preceded in death by his Wife of 43 years, Betty Hutchason-Parr; brothers, George W Parr, Harold Parr, Raymond Parr and Sister, Eula Baldwin.
Survivors include 4 daughters; Pamela lovine, Judith (Kevin) West and Karen E. Parr of Owensboro, Debra (Steve) Shoulders of Henderson, KY and son, James Timothy (Patricia) Parr of Fairview, NC; grandchildren, Andrew West of Owensboro, Amanda West-Reade of Carmel Valley, CA, Rebecca lovine Brown of Louisville, and Nathan Parr of Fairview, NC, and 5 Great Grandchildren.
The Family wishes to thank the Staff at Good Samaritan Home, Evansville, IN and Kindred Hospice Services.
Services will be private followed by burial at Owensboro Memorial Gardens per his wishes. Care has been entrusted to Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
