Mr. Clement Lee Mitchell, 72, of 6823 Oakford Rd, Stanley, died Saturday, June 23, 2001 at his home. A native of Stanley, he was a farmer and life long member of St Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Edward Mitchell in 1985.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anita Keller Mitchell; three sons, Martin Estil Mitchell and John David Mitchell of Stanley and William Anthony Mitchell of Owensboro; five daughters, Vicki Lee Stogsdill of Stanley, Elizabeth Jill Gerring of Lexington, Sally Ann Martin of Owensboro, Mary Jane Bray of Nashville, and Cathy Louise Fike of Latonia; 18 grandchildren and his mother, Mary Gertrude Russell Mitchell of Owensboro.
Funeral services are Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at 11 A.M. at St Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Stanley with burial in St Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 1-8 P.M. Monday, June 25 and after 8:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 26.
