Claude Everett Johnson

Claude Everett Johnson, 84, of Utica, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at Owensboro Place. He was a native of Daviess County, born to the late William Price and Josephine (Pope) Johnson. Claude was retired veteran of the Air Force, serving during the World War II, Korean and Vietnam War eras. He also worked for General Electric and Westinghouse in Equipment Maintenance. He was of the Baptist faith, a good husband,who liked hunting and fishing, gardening, and riding motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Ada Hodgen, Thelma, Paul, Harold, Luther and Cladis Johnson. Surviving is his loving wife of almost 40 years, Maxine Talbott Johnson, one sister, Barbara Jean Washington of Pasadena, CA., and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held with military honors at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Field of Honor, Owensboro Memorial Gardens. No visitation is planned. Expressions of sympathy may be expressed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
