Claude Boling

Claude Boling, 75, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006 at his home. Born in Hancock County on June 26, 1931, Mr. Boling was the son of the late Claude Sr. and Leva Richards Boling. He was a member of Third Baptist Church and the Berea Sunday School Class; retired as Business Agent for the Laborers International Union of North America Local 1392; and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by brothers, Milner Boling, Richard Boling and Ralph Boling and sisters, Ruby Griffin and Rayonette Voyles.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Zelma Parker Boling; sons, William Darrell Lamar of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl and Randall Lee Lamar of Punta Gorda, Fl; three grandchildren; and a brother, Russell Boling of Owensboro.

Service will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Peace Chapel, Rosehill Cemetery with Dr. James K. Byrd officiating. Glenn Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
