Clarice June Wood

Clarice "June" Wood, 83, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at her daughter and son-in-law's home in Bossier City, LA. She was born January 30, 1925 to the late Henry and Flora Reed Fentress in Muhlenberg County, and she was a member of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Carl Wood on June 5, 2006.

Survivors include her daughter, Carla Foshee and her husband, John of Bossier City, LA; her sister, Imogene Doss of Madisonville, KY; an adopted great-granddaughter, Nadia Foshee.

Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Saturday, and after 12:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Christus Schumpert Hospice, 1st Mary Place, Shreveport, LA 71101.
