Clarence Jerome Biscopink

C. J. "Jerry" Biscopink, 89, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Floyd Co., IN on July 16, 1920 to the late Clarence and Clara Ott Biscopink. He was retired as an accountant with West End Hardware Store and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, had been in the Civil Air Patrol, and enjoyed flying R. C. aircraft and was a member of the Owensboro Isotopes Radio Control Airplane Club. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. Biscopink on December 9, 2005.

Surviving are three sons, Jerry F. Biscopink and wife Alice of Loveland, OH, Dr. Ronald J. Biscopink and wife Kay of Anderson, S. C., and Raymond L. Biscopink and wife Dot of Owensboro, a daughter, Patricia A. Merimee and husband Greg of Redmond, WA, seven grandchildren, Jack Merimee and wife Kristin of Short Hills, N. J., Chris Merimee of Seattle, WA, Kelly Biscopink of Loveland, OH, Karen Biscopink of San Francisco, CA, Ryan Biscopink of Louisville, Eric Biscopink of Lexington, and Alec Biscopink of Anderson, S. C., and a sister, Roberta Welch, New Albany, IN.

Services will be 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 5, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with entombment following in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 8:00 A.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be 5:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
