Clara L. Shouse
March 28, 1918 — February 4, 2013
Clara Logsdon Shouse, 94, of Bowling Green, Kentucky (formerly of Maceo), passed away on February 4, 2013 in Bowling Green. Clara was born in Meade County to the late Michael Allen and Magnolia (Gwartney) Logsdon.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Church and Maceo Golden Years Club. Clara was an avid quilter and enjoyed cross stitching.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ivo Manaway in 1940 and a second husband, Marshall Henry Shouse in 1966.
Clara is survived by three daughters, Frances Manaway Foster of Cleveland, TN, Karen Shouse Mattingly of Fordsville, KY and Elizabeth "Libby" Shouse Velotta of Bowling Green, KY; two sons, George Mitchell Shouse and Pete Shouse, both of Maceo; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a sister, Beulah Higgs of Evansville, IN.
A private funeral service will be held at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
