Clara Dorine Roberts

Clara "Dorine" Roberts, 87, passed away January 13, 2016 at Wellington Parc. Born October 25, 1928 to the late Glendon P. and Alma Pendley Green, Mrs. Roberts was a caregiver most of her life and enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling, the ocean, and UK Basketball. Dorine loved her husband, Ollie to the moon and back, and family was her life. Mrs. Roberts trusted in God and was a vital part of Third Baptist Church for 61 years, where she also spent time as a preschool teacher.

Dorine was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie; her brothers, Harold Green, Glen Green, Steve Green, William Green; her sisters, Wilma Beck and Sue Scarborough.

She is survived by her children, Robin Roberts and his wife Becky, Shannon Bailes and her husband Steve, all of Owensboro; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Joshua Bailes, his wife Jessi and their children Gus, Luci and Finn of Olney, MD; Jonathan Bailes, his wife Erin and their children Grady and Audrey of Owensboro; Zachary Bailes and his wife Stacy of Snow Hill, NC; Mackenzie Bailes and his wife Hannah of Lexington, KY; and Jennifer Goetz and her sons, Gage and Preston of Owensboro. She also leaves behind her family at Wellington Parc. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making her sunset years so special.

Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service. Entombment will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
