Clara Fuchs Nance

Clara Fuchs Nance, 96,of 209 East 24th Street died Nov.30, 2001 in Owensboro. Her husband, William B. Nance, died in 1961.

The Hancock Co. native retired from South Central Bell following 47 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Joy Sunday school class, the Senior Adult Choir, the Young at Heart Adult Group past president of Owensboro Business and Professional Womens Club and member of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her brother, William E. Fuchs of Louisville, 13 nieces and nephews, and 23 great nieces and nephews.

Services are 2:30 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church. Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
