Clara Wilma Spence Miller

Clara Wilma Spence Miller, 91, of Owensboro, died on November 12, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital following a two year battle with cancer. She was born on September 21, 1923 to the late John and Mary Roberta Caraway Spence. Clara was a lifetime member at 3rd Baptist Church. She retired from General Electric.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie S. Miller in 1957; sister, Helen Carr; brother, Ray Spence; 3 infant grandchildren; and an infant great-grandchild.

Survivors include her daughters, Judith (Joseph Terry) Pagan of Owensboro and Charlene (John) Hinton of Frankfort; grandchildren, Mark Hinton and Daniel Hinton, both of Frankfort, Neal Pagan and Jason Pagan, both of Owensboro; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Joyce) Spence of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 2pm Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11am-2pm Friday at the funeral home.
