Clara W. Kruger

Clara W. Stewart Kruger, 90, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Wellington Parc. She was born in Daviess County to the late Claude V. and Ora Canary Stewart.
Clara was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and retired from General Electric. In earlier years she enjoyed camping with her husband and being outdoors. Clara was also an avid gardener who enjoyed flowers and had a special knack for cactuses. She was a positive and cheerful person who brought joy to others.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Marion W. Kruger in 2013; 2 sisters, Mayme Harpe and Bethel Bowers; and 4 brothers, Franklin, C.V., Lionel and Ted Stewart.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to offer special thanks for the kindness and dedicated care given to Clara by the staff at both, The Hermitage and Wellington Parc.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, October 22 at Rosehill Chapel. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
