Clara Y. Camp, 92, of 3606 Trafalgar Ct., Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Hermitage Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Daviess Co. to the late Adam & Josephine Moore Young. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church and was retired from General Electric Co. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Acacia Chapter #46 where she held the position of Treasurer and Worthy Matron. She was also a member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, was a Mother Advisor of the Rainbow for Girls, and had been a member of the Daviess Co. Ladies Civitan Club. She was Sr. Class Valedictorian at West Louisville H. S. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Myles, Clifton Shiver, and David Camp, and three sisters and four brothers.

Surviving is her son and his wife, Glover & Phyllis Myles of Owensboro, three daughters, Joyce & husband Robert Settles and Alyce Goetz, all of Owensboro, and Gayle & husband Veryl Moser of Littleton, Col., 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, and a sister, Beulah Heisler of Owensboro.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 15, at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday with Eastern Star services at 6:30 P.M. and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Ohio Valley, 723 Harvard Dr., Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
