Cindy C. Dant O'Bryan

Cindy C. (Dant) O’Bryan, 54, met Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior, Thursday July 9, 2026 in Lakeland, Florida. She was born August 14, 1971 in Daviess County. Cindy was preceded in death by her husband Timothy E. O’Bryan on October 17, 2024, her mother, Velda L. Baker, her grandmother, Willa Genevieve Hagan, her aunts, Gloria Warner and Elizabeth Naomi Beaver, father-in-law, Thomas E. O’Bryan, and brother-in-law, Terry L. Jones.

Cindy was a devoted wife and mother, loved her husband Timmy and children, Austin and Thomika with all her heart. Cindy loved people and served as an R. N. in the emergency department, I.C.U., and many other positions as a healthcare provider for 33 years. She loved animals of all kinds and was an avid hiker and loved everything nature. In 2020, Cindy rededicated her life to the Lord and served him mightily with ferver, passion, and love up until the day her Lord called her home.

Cindy leaves behind her two children, Timothy Austin O’Bryan and Tomika Jantzen Page; her father, Albert L. Dant of Owensboro; the youngest of five sisters, all of whom had a tremendous influence and love for Cindy throughout her life until her death. They are Pamela Denise Jones of Lakeland, Kimberly Rene Koykar of Ft. White, Florida, Cassandra Ann Harris and Trenda Marlene Richey, both of Owensboro. Cindy also has two brothers-in-law whom loved her dearly, Jeff Koykar of Ft. White and Ronald L. Harris of Owensboro. Also sharing in Cindy’s life and love were many nieces and nephews.

Throughout life’s trials, tribulations, and tragedies, Cindy learned her only solution to overcoming life’s obstacles and problems was the love of Jesus Christ and what he did on the cross for her and the world.

Our beloved Cindy is now walking the streets of glory and loudly pronounced her death will be a celebration of life. Come join us for this triumphant jubilee.
