Christine Wiggins

Christine Cricket Wiggins, 91, of Philpot, died Sunday, December 10, 2006, at Wellington Parc in Owensboro. She was born May 4, 1915 to the late John and Nannie Belle Carmon Thomas in McLean County. She was a homemaker and a member of South Hampton Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Wiggins on December 23, 1995.

Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Newcomb and her husband, Jerry of Philpot, Norma Jean Roberts and her husband, Rev. Arnold Roberts of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Kathy Roberts, Denise Hill and her husband, Mark, Eric Roberts and his wife, Jennifer, Scott Newcomb and his wife, Kim, Brett Newcomb and his wife, Tammy; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise King of Livermore; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in South Hampton Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Monday and after 8:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
