Christine Webb

Christine Webb, 80, of 409 Catlina Drive, Owensboro, died Sunday, December 15, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Barren County, Kentucky on October 12, 1922 the daughter of Eugen and Minnie Bostic Webb.

She retired from the tube assembly department of General Electric in Owensboro in January 1984. She was a member of Third Baptist Church, where she belonged to Senior Citizens of Third Baptist Church and Womans Mission Union. She enjoyed crocheting and collecting salt and pepper shakers and angel memorabilia.

Survivors include a brother, Cleon A. Webb of Aberdeen, Ohio; three nieces; and six great-nephews and great nieces.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Dennis McFadden. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. EST Thursday, December 19, 2002 in Washing Baptist Cemetery in Maysville. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2002 and after 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
