Chester Peter Kaminski

Chester Peter Kaminski, 94, of Owensboro, entered eternal life on July 22, 2008. He was born February 22, 1914 in New York City, to Anna and Julian Kaminski. He is survived by his children, Chester (Deanna) Kaminski, Sister Sarah Anne Kaminski O.P., Evelyn (Gary) Rudolph; grandchildren: Dennis, Joseph, Steve, and Chris Kaminski and AnnMarie and Thomas Rudolph; great-grandchildren: Claire, Peter, Lydia, Nathan, Mason and Maxim Kaminski. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Kaminski, and sisters, Katherine Gokey and Genia Yeager. Chester had a generous heart and gentle spirit. He will be missed by those who loved and cared for him.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2008 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with Fr. John Meredith officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. with a circle of remembrance with prayers at 7:00 p.m. and also after 8:30 a.m. Friday before services.
The family is grateful to the staffs of Hillcrest Health Care and Hospice and Palliative Care of Owensboro for treating him with care and dignity.
