Chester Marvin Hines

March 14, 1915 — November 6, 2001

Chester Marvin Chetty Hines, 86, of Leitchfield Road, Owensboro, died Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a retired farmer and dairyman and property investor. He was a member of Bethabara Baptist Church and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He was preceded in death by his wives, Pearl K. Hines, on August 7, 1971, and Georgia Lee Hines, on May 6, 2001.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Hines of Philpot; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
