Chester Raymond Elliott

Chester Raymond Elliott, 87, of Knottsville, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a farmer and former security guard. He was a member of the St. William Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Sis Lanham Elliott in 1997.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph and Mary Sue Elliott and William Tony and Diana Elliott both of Philpot; a daughter, Dorothy and Jackie Kirk of Knottsville; 9 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 22, 2003 at the St. William Catholic Church in Knottsville with burial in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 2-8 P.M. on Friday and after 8:30 A.M. on Saturday. Prayers will be said at 6:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
