Cheryle "Rena" Clouse

Cheryle “Rena” Clouse, 51, of Owensboro, departed this Earth Friday, November 28, 2025, to be with her heavenly father. She was born January 14, 1974, to William Sr. and Edith Boehman of Maceo.

Rena met the love of her life at DCHS; they married on April 20th, 1991, and went on to have four children. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, never missing the opportunity to spoil her grandchildren, who knew her as Memaw. Rena’s favorite places to be were the beach enjoying the sun and the casino. Her family will always remember the phone calls asking to go to the casino with her. Rena will be remembered for her strength, one of a kind laugh, determination and kindness. She fought against cancer for nearly seven years, which was much longer than her doctors expected. Rena knew the battle was worth it to be on Earth with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Boehman Sr, and in-laws, Walter and Linda Clouse.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of almost 35 years, Christopher Lee Clouse; mother, Edith Boehman; children, Jacob Clouse (Teresa), Blake Clouse (Jenny), Brandon Clouse (Kaitlyn) and Kasey Clouse; sister, Gail Boehman; brothers, Mike Boehman, Jason Boehman, Andy Clouse (Robert) and Eddie Boehman; grandchildren, Zach Gross(Camille), Lillian Cook, William Cook, Chloe Cook, Braxton Clouse, Kate Clouse, Paisley Kirby, Parker Kirby, Piper Kirby, Archer Clouse, Kaden Abney, Isabella Seaton; and greatgrandchild, Gus Gross.

The funeral service for Rena will be 12 PM Thursday, December 4, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 AM until 7 PM and Thursday 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
