Cheri Maglinger Tranjan

Cheri Maglinger Tranjan, 47, of Concord, North Carolina died Monday, April 2, 2001. Born in Owensboro, Kentucky on October 14, 1953, she was the daughter of Ozzie and Shirley Blanchard Maglinger.

Mrs. Tranjan has worked as a Gifted and Talented Teacher. She received her bachelors degree from the University of Kentucky and her masters in education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

She is survived by her husband, Farid M Tranjan; a son, Michael J. Tranjan of Concord, NC; her parents, Ozzie and Shirley Blanchard Maglinger of Owensboro; a brother, Wes Maglinger of Evansville, IN; and a sister, Terri Leone of Lexington, KY.

Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2001 and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
