Charlotte Marie Sharp Rock

Charlotte (Marie) Sharp Rock, 83, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Heartford House. She was born February 21, 1942 in Ohio County to the late James Louis and Catherine Estelle Sharp. She attended Owensboro Business College for accounting, was retired from the Daviess County School System as a secretary, and was a member of Bells Run Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Ford, and Barbara Belcher, her brother, James M. Sharp, and a son-in-law, David Gray.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Donald L. Rock, her son, Mark (Tina) Nicely and her daughter, Dianna Nicely Gray; stepchildren, Kim (Jay) Paulsen, Kevin (Shannon) Rock, and Kristie (Jeff) Dawson; grandchildren, Curry Nicely, James (Leah) Nicely, Chad Taylor, and Emily Durham; six step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; and a brother, Roger (Karen) Sharp.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 11 AM Thursday, March 13, at Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
