Charlotte Ann Richeson

Charlotte Ann Richeson, 67, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday March 24, 2026, at her home. She was born May 10, 1958, in Owensboro, to the late Charles and Shirley Wedding Clark. She graduated from Owensboro High School and has been a lifelong member of the Nickel Ridge Pentecostal Church. Charlotte married Marion Richeson on July 9, 1977, at her home. Pastor Mike Brown officiated their wedding.

Charlotte loved her kids and grandchildren. She did everything with the kids, which especially included perusing yard sales. Charlotte didn’t just love her own kids, she and Marion helped to raise many children in the Owensboro area when there was a need.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Evalyn Grace Russ, and a niece, Candice Clark.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 49 years, Marion Richeson; sons, Charles (Robin) Richeson, and Cody (Cerria) Richeson; daughter, Shelly (Shawn) Libs; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and her beloved dog, Patches.

The funeral service for Charlotte will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rick Wedding officiating. Burial to follow in Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
