Charlotte Lynn Hickey

Charlotte Lynn Hickey, 66, of Utica, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born in Daviess County on March 28, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Frankie and Maxine Richeson Hickey and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Charlotte was a part-owner of American Quality Healthcare and had worked at Thomas Industries in Beaver Dam. She was devoted to her family and loved caring for each of them especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Gilstrap and a brother, Gary Hickey.
Surviving are her children, Melody (Duane) Taylor, Harmony (Willie Embry) Phelps, Keith Tune; brothers, Steve Hickey of Trindad, CO, David (Tammy) Hickey and Jeff (Cissy) Hickey of Pleasant Ridge; an uncle, Mike Richeson of Owensboro; grandchildren, Syphonie Kussman, Rhythem Vanover, Vanessa (Joey) Fulkerson, Tiffany Vanover, Trever Tune, Brennen Gilstrap, Justus Tune, Hannah Tune, Courtney Tune, Jordyn (Josh) Trogden, Blake (Lacey) Hamilton, Madison Taylor, J.C. Embry, Taylor Funk, and Aaron Hudnall; numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12 noon, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Bells Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. on Tuesday and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
