Charlotte Drury Hayden

Charlotte Drury Hayden, 70, of Hillcrest Nursing Center in Owensboro, died Thursday, July 05, 2007, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born January 23, 1937 to the late Archie and Margaret Stewart Drury, Sr. in Daviess County. She was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church which she loved, where she was active in the choir, served on the bereavement dinner committee and was a Eucharist Minister. She loved playing cards, walking, making crafts, fishing and being with her family

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Jerome Hayden on October 19, 2002, a daughter, Helen Geneive Newton on May 28, 2007, 3 brothers, Fred, Anthony and Archie Drury, Jr., and a sister, Beverly Drury.

Survivors include her sons, Charles Leslie Hayden and his wife, Neva of Philpot, Jeffery Lynn Hayden, Sr., of Owensboro, Joseph Mark Hayden of Owensboro, her daughter, Julie Marie Hayden of Owensboro ; ten grandchildren, Jeff Hayden, Jr., Derek Burnett, Rachael Wheatly, John Ralph, Shannon Hallam, Kyle, Coty Mae, Ronnie, Michael and Jamie Hayden; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Anthonette Toni Winterson of Boston, MA, Anna Teresa Kline and her husband, Jim of Leesburg, FL, Rose Maddery and her husband, Charles of Atlanta, GA, Mary Margaret Drury of Owensboro; her brother, Michael Drury and his wife, Linda of Louisville; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with burial in St. Peters Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Friday and after 8:30 AM Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home, prayers will be 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
