Charles A. Wink

Charles A. Wink, 84, of Utica died Sunday, October 13, 2002 at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. He was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on November 11, 1917 the son of Joseph and Julianna Mehling Wink.

Mr. Wink retired as a self-employed farmer and was a member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Melba Wink; four sons, Charles Patrick Wink of Sturgis, Mich., John William Wink of Russellville, Ark., and Joseph M. Wink and David G. Wink, both of Utica; three daughters, Mary Louise Wink of Utica, Nita Matthews of Fort Collins, Colo., and Rebecca Mills of Utica; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Christina Morgan of Owensboro and Frances Routt of Bowling Green.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2002 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, officiated by Father Mike Clark. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. His family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2002 and after 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
