Charles L. Wimsatt

Charles L. Wimsatt, 67, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Mr. Wimsatt was born September 9, 1950 in Daviess County to the late Owen and Kathryn Ford Wimsatt. Charlie graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School and worked for Titan Contracting as a Superintendent for over 30 years. He loved to work and traveled all over the country with his job. Charlie also loved to talk and tell stories and took much pleasure in his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Rita Shelton Wimsatt; son, Scott Wimsatt and wife Amy of Owensboro; grandchildren, Devyn and Danielle Wimsatt and Will and Ross Boultinghouse; brother, Lawrence Wimsatt; sisters, Rose Towery (Larry), Sharon Ward, Dorothy Lordo (Bob), Teresa Fraim (Mark), and Janice Wimsatt.
