Charles D. Stevens

Charles Dennis Dennie Stevens, 51 of 10395 Highway 54, Whitesville, went to be with his heavenly Father and the Blessed Mother, Sunday ,March 25, 2007 at his home. He was a man with a good heart, and a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. Dennie and LaDonna were married on February 14, 1986 and later received the Sacrament of Marriage on November 21, 1998. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting , fishing, camping, Nascar, playing poker and U.K. basketball. He was a welder for Titan Contracting & Leasing Inc.

He was preceded in death by two children, Sarah Beth Stevens, and Charles Adam Stevens, and his father David Clinton Stevens, and a niece Olivia Stevens.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, LaDonna Booker Stevens, a son, Dennie Stevens and daughter ,Amie Stevens of Whitesville, his mother Barbara Stevens Southerland of Owensboro, three brothers, David Richard (Gayla) Stevens of Utica, and Michael Ray (Alisa) Stevens and Tom Southerland of Owensboro, a sister, Lisa Patterson of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Williams Catholic Church, Knottsville, with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with prayers at 7 p.m. and also after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. William Catholic Church.
