Charles Terry Sparks

Terry Sparks, 70, of Utica passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mr. Sparks was born April 24, 1946 in Daviess County to the late Robert Boyd Sparks and Mary Zada Dickerson Sparks. Terry retired from Colonial Bakery after 35 years as a machine operator. He was a laid back guy who never got in a hurry and enjoyed playing pool and listening to country music. Terry loved Nascar and watching his sons race as well as his grandkids and great grandkids practice and play sports.

Mr. Sparks also was preceded in death by his brother, Boyd Sparks.

His survivors include his wife of 34 years, Roxanne Shultz Sparks; sons, Terry Sparks and wife Linda, Michael Sparks and wife Cindy, and J.B. Shultz; daughters, Samantha Hall and husband David, Shannon Canary and husband Mike; sisters, Sheila Smith and husband Robert, Jeannie Goff and husband Larry all of Daviess County; close friend Ramond Perales; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 1 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Jordan Kreisle officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 and Thursday from 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Nickel Ridge Cemetery.
