Charles Lynn Riney

Charles Lynn Charlie Riney, 48, of 7661 Horrell Road, Owensboro, died Thursday, February 26, 2004 at his home. A son of the late James L. and Mary Kathryn Wimsatt Riney, Mr. Riney was a self-employed farmer and member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. A 1973 graduate of Daviess County High School, he loved sports, enjoyed playing basketball and mens softball, and was an avid baseball fan.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Faye Cecil Riney, a daughter, Haley Lynn Riney and a son, Adam Charles Riney, both at home, five brothers, Gary Riney, David Riney, Michael Riney, and Bruce Riney, all of Owensboro, and Ken Riney of St. Louis; four sisters, Barbara June Coomes, Betty Gail Sims Armendarez, and Janice Morton, all of Owensboro, and Francil Higdon of Hartford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are 1:30 P.M. Saturday, February 28,2004 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 2-8 P.M. on Friday, February 27, 2004 and after 10 A.M. on _Saturday. Prayers will be 7:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
