Charles Ray Hamilton, 83, left this world on Saturday August 23, 2025, at Wellington Parc, to go to his Heavenly home. He was born September 27, 1941, in Daviess County, to the late Pat and Anna Mae Adams Hamilton.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Bernard Hamilton; and his sisters, Agnes Howard, Mary Stogsdill Faulkner, and Ruby Robertson.
Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Andrea Hamilton, and together they worked hard as farmers, and raised 4 children, Darrel (Mary) Hamilton, Bobby (Kim Booker) Hamilton, Faye (Larry) Klee, & Kaye (Ken) Fulkerson; also survived by his beloved sister, Barbara Quisenberry.
He was also survived by his 13 grandchildren, Cesley (David) Cox, Wesley Hamilton, Blake (Lacey) Hamilton, Grant (Taylor) Hamilton, Haley (Jordan) Stoermer, Isaac (Sara) Fulkerson, Marcus Fulkerson, Corey (Courtney) Fulkerson, MaKayla (Ryan) Brown, Jacqueline Klee, Samantha (Isaac) Malott, Teresa Klee, & Rebecca Klee; 16 great grandchildren, Samuel Cox, Kaleb Hamilton, Austin Napier, Tyler Napier, Addison Hamilton, Reed Hamilton, William Hamilton, Matthew Hamilton, Carter Hamilton, Karlee Hamilton, Heidi Stoermer, Brock Stoermer, Joelle Stoermer, Mollie Stoermer, Luke Fulkerson, & Jack Fulkerson.
The funeral Mass for Charles will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father John Vaughan and Father John Ighacho officiating. Burial to follow at St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 until 6 p.m. with prayers at 5:30 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at the church.
