Charles Gerry Newton

Charles Gerry Newton, 61, of Owensboro passed away Friday, March 30, 2012. Charles Gerry was born February 17, 1951. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine McCray and his sister, Sherri Jean Rascoe. He was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus and ministered to all that he loved and talked to.

Survivors include his son, Charles Monroe Newton of Owensboro; two brothers, Everett Leroy Newton of Evansville, IN, and James Darnell Jackson of Kansas City, MO; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home. A graveside service and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at 12:00 noon Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may be placed at cmnewton1@hotmail.com.
