Charles W. Mcgrew

Mr. Charles W. McGrew, 88, of 1633 West Parrish Ave., Owensboro, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born of Millard and Irene Pinston McGrew on March 26, 1915, in McLean County. He was retired from Owensboro Sewer Pipe after 28 years. He was a member of First Church of Nazarene and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include, his wife of 28 years, Betty McGrew, of Owensboro; 3 step-sons, Earl McLemore of Pleasant Ridge, Eddie Payne of Curdsville and Terry Payne of Calhoun; 2 step-daughters, Betty Spratt and Linda Winfield both of Owensboro; 9 step-grandchildren and 25 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home, burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 01, 2003 and after 9:00 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
