Charles Louis McClure, 61, of Owensboro passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at his Las Vegas home surrounded by his family. Born in Hardin County on March 13, 1956, he was the son of the late Voyne and Juanita Hatfield McClure; was a member of the Southside Wesleyan Church; had worked at Hunter Douglas; and retired as a pastor of Livermore Wesleyan Church. Charles was known for his love of family, friends, church, traveling, and UK basketball. He will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Ronnie McClure and Grace McClure Weiss and a grandson, Joseph Connor.
Surviving are his children, Tennile McClure of Las Vegas, Charles Louis McClure, Jr. and Brooke Anne McClure both of Owensboro; his sister, Mary (Tom) Judge of Evansville; a brother, Wayne Limback; grandchildren, Levi, Maxwell, Luke, Bradley, Tyler, and Claudia.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. John Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho. Visitation will be from 12 noon till service time at the funeral home.
