Charles H. Hicklin

Charles H. Hicklin, 65, of Marion passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mr. Hicklin was born January 5, 1952 in Hopkins County to the late Edward Thomas Hicklin and Ruth Moore Hicklin. Charlie graduated with a degree in electrical engineering and eventually became President of Par4 Plastics. He was a talented handyman who enjoyed woodworking and remodeling. For leisure, Charlie found enjoyment in golf and fishing. He was kind, generous, and sincere in his faith. Charlie especially loved his family and granddaughter and was a great provider.

Mr. Hicklin's father passed away in 1964, but those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 42 years, Deanna Fackler Hicklin of Marion; son, David Hicklin and wife Dana of Nashville; daughter, Mellissa Campbell and husband Justin of St. Louis; granddaughter, Bella Campbell; mother, Ruth Conder of Evansville; brothers, Edward Hicklin (Beverly) of Nortonville and Tim Hicklin (Carol) of Jasper; sister, Tina Bates (Mark) of Evansville; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 18 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Mike Garrigan and Frank Stevenson officiating.
