Charles Edward Haywood

Charles Edward Haywood, 66, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009 at his son's home in Rosine. Born in Daviess County on August 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Emogene Kennedy Shultz; was an electrical lineman; and graduate of Owensboro High School. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Mary Goetz Haywood.
He is survived by a son, Clinton Haywood; grandchildren, Elizabeth Brooke Haywood and Trevor Donovan Haywood; his father, Charles William Haywood; half-brothers, Donnie Shultz and Danny Shultz; and a half-sister, Susie Corley.
Mr. Haywood's body was donated to the University of Kentucky Medical Center and will be interred in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
