Charles Patrick Hamilton, 69, of Owensboro, passed away May 10, 2014 at the Owensboro Center. He was born on July 26, 1944 in Daviess Co. to the late Carl and Mercedes Hamilton. Charles was a truck driver for Gant. He enjoyed fishing and crafts. Charles also enjoyed Willie Nelson's music and watching movies.
Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Hamilton.
Survivors include a son, William P. (Sherry) Hamilton Jr.; step-sons, James W. (Season) Barnett and Kenny (Tammy) Barnett; step-daughters, Kathy Rice, Linda Roberts, Connie Barnett, and Mary Dean; brother, James A. (Linda) Hamilton; sister, Elizabeth A. Clark, and several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2PM Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from Wednesday, 10AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
