Charles Richard Cornelius

Charles Richard Cornelius, 69, of Owensboro went to join his heavenly family Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born August 18, 1949 in Russellville, KY to the late Charles Harrison and Beatrice Juanita Cornelius. Charles attended Owensboro Schools and was a graduate of Brescia University.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Maria Rector Cornelius; his brother, Terrell Cornelius.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Ann Ratliff Cornelius of Owensboro; his sons, Richie (Julie) Cornelius of Owensboro, Chad (Chris) Cornelius of Michigan, and Randy Cornelius of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Tyler (Amanda) Cornelius of Owensboro, Travis (Katlin) Cornelius of Owensboro, Ryan and Kady Cornelius of Michigan; his great-grandchildren, Haylee and Owen Cornelius; his brothers, Boyce (Sue) Cornelius of Philpot, Roger (Connie) Cornelius of Owensboro; his sister, Barbara Jean Bullington of Owenboro; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
The service will be 2PM Friday, November 16, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Pastor Tim Hall will officiate. The burial will be in Fordsville Cemetery. The visitation will be 10AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
