Charles F. Conder

Charles F. Conder, 67, of Owensboro died and entered heaven on April 30, 2007. He celebrated life through Jesus Christ with his wife Zula Roberts for 48 yrs. His joy came from his children Larry Conder and his wife Rosemary, Sabrina Johnson and her husband Scott , Kevin Conder and his wife Vicki , Keith Conder, and Julie Sapp and her husband Aaron. His laughter was shared with his 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was greeted in heaven by his grandson Alex Conder, his parents Jody and Ethel Conder and his brother Vincent Conder. His happiness came from his brothers and sisters; Mary Rose Wellmeir, Barbara Roberts, Louis Conder, Judy Connor, Doris Thomson, Margaret Henderson, Connie Coomes, Ina Mattingly, Debbie Stout, David Conder, Jerry Conder, Hope Brey and Terry Conder.

Charles proudly served our country for 12 years in the United States Army. He also retired from Century Aluminum after 29 years of service without missing one day of work. He was a part of the Dream Riders Club, Knights of Columbus Counsel 817 4th degree and TPA Post G of Owensboro. Charles had many treasured memories of riding horses with all of his friends. He shared his faith with the members of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Services are 10 A.M. Thursday, May 3, 2007 at SS Joseph and Paul Catholic Church followed by burial in Resurrection Cemetery where military honors will be rendered by VFW Post 696. Visitation will be from _2-8 P.M. Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. on Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home where the Knights of Columbus service will be at 6 P.M. and prayers will be said at 7 P.M. on Wednesday evening.
