Charles Edward Clark

Charles Edward Clark, 73, of Rockport, IN, died Friday at his home. Born April 21, 1932 in Owensboro, Mr. Clark was the son of the late Archie B. and Sarabenah Eger Clark. He was of the catholic faith and retired from Dynalectric in 2003. He was a senior estimator when he retired. He was a licensed master electrician, and had served as the Owensboro Electrical Inspector and has taught electrical apprentices for local 1701. Mr. Clark enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, gardening, hunting, and spending time with his family. Mr. Clark was a Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was presented the keys to the City of Owensboro. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Anna Faye Brown Clark in 1999.

He is survived by four daughters, Sabrina Wilson of Rockport, and Gayle Bartlett, Alicia (and Randy) Sharp, and Jackie (and Bobby) Lloyd all of Owensboro; six grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, Samantha Stamper, Chris Bartlett, Stephanie Sharp, and Jamie Lee Sharp; two step-grandchildren, Ryan Lloyd and Tina Fulkerson; 3 great-grandchild; three brothers, Archie B. Clark, Jr. of Owensboro, William M. Clark of Louisville, and Dr. George B. Clark of TX; and a sister, Sarah Jane Johnson, of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 2 P.M. Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:30 A.M. to 2 P.M. on Wednesday.
