Charles E. Cameron, 78 of Maceo, passed away on November 17, 2007 at his home. He was born in Hancock County on August 22, 1929 to the late Iva and Mary Dorothy ( Mattingly) Cameron, the eldest of 14 children, with nine sisters and four brothers. He was a member of the Maceo Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a driver from Field Packing Company.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Dell (Morris) Cameron; three children, Charles Eugene Cameron, Sandra Kay Rone and Lisa Ann Raley; nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Ford officiating. Burial will be in Yelvington Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may include donations to Maceo Baptist Church.
