Charles Chuck Buskill, 60, of Owensboro died Wednesday June 13, 2001 at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born March 4, 1941 in Herrin, IL, he was the son of the late Richard Buskill and Wilda Wells Buskill.
Mr. Buskill retired from Bell South in 1991 after 27 years. He was a member of Landmark Apostolic Bible Church in Rockport, IN and the Telephone Pioneers of America. He served in the US Navy for four years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his Grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Kathy Sue Faught Buskill; two sons, Jamie Buskill and Chad Buskill both of Owensboro; one daughter, Robin May of Lake St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Zachary Buskill, Sara Buskill, Andrew Buskill and Katie Buskill all of Owensboro.
Funeral services for Mr. Buskill will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 16, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend James Denham and Reverend Jimmy Johnson. Burial will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday in Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City, IL. His family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday June 5, 2001 and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
