Charles Drummond Bagot, 72, of 2841 Tanglewood Drive, Owensboro, died Sunday November 18, 2001 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Brooklyn, N.Y., native worked for Mercantile Stores for 36 years and was store manager at Bacons Department Store. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1951 and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1950 to 1954. He was a member of Rotary club, Serra Club and St. Vincent DePaul Society.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Alice Regan Bagot; three sons, Jesse Chester Selph of Tallahassee, Fla., William Wesley Bagot of DeLand, Fla., and Allan Charles Bagot of North Webster, Ind.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen Cathedral in Owensboro. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. to Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Vincent DePaul of St. Stephen Cathedral
