Charles R. "Chuck" Adams

Charles R. "Chuck" Adams, 76, of Owensboro, passed away May 17, 2017 at home. Chuck was born October 26, 1940 in Evansville, IN to the late Evert and Virginia Adams. He graduated in 1958 from Bosse High School in Evansville and later attended Brescia University where he graduated in 1976. Chuck worked at NSA and then retired from Century Aluminum in 2003. He was a coach for his son's baseball team and enjoyed traveling to his grandchildren's games. Chuck was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Bosecker.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Marsha Adams; daughter, Shannon Clark (David); son, Doug Adams; grandchildren, Amanda Edge (Blake), Hadley Edge (Jordan), Carson Adams, Tanner Adams and Cooper Adams; greatgrandchild, Nathan Edge; sister, Shannon Hammontree of Carmel, IN; brother, Dr. Greg Adams of Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Saturday and after 1:00 p.m. Sunday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Western Kentucky or Owensboro Catholic High School Softball.
