Catherine Virginia Miller

Catherine Virginia "Caty" Miller, 28, of Owensboro died January 31, 2012. She was a 2002 graduate of Apollo High School where she participated with the ROTC, attended Owensboro Community and Technical College and received her CNA certification in Evansville. Caty was a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She liked to fish, loved all types of animals and collected dolphin figurines. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ludwina Schu and her paternal grandparents, J.R. and Tommie Miller.

Survivors include her parents, Mark and Robin Miller of Owensboro and Sue and John Moser of Evansville; sister, Dana Ambrose and her husband Scott of Evansville; step brothers and sisters, Jared Lee, Jennifer Lee and Jamie Lee all of Lexington; niece, Jordan Ambrose of Evansville; aunts and uncles; Diane and Steve Babcock, Darlene and Randy Appler, Donna and Bob Bittner, Mary and David Wagner, Vincent and Julie Schu, Jim and Paddy Miller, Jane Haase, Mary Dee and Barry Denton, Tim and Mary Dean Miller; and many loving cousins.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Ennichement will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to The Humane Society or the Settle Memorial United Methodist Church Youth Group.
