Catherine Helsley Lyons

Catherine Helsley Lyons, 93, of the Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, Ky., died March 11, 2003 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. She was born in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. She was retired as a school teacher and principal where she had been principal at the former Emerson Elementary School and principal at Seven Hills Elementary School and she also loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Freeman Lyons, in 1959, and a son, Stephen Mark Lyons in 1972.
Survivors include two sons, Robert C. Lyons of Louisville, and Morgan Lyons of Los Angeles, a grandchild, and 2 Great Grandchildren.
