Carrie Nicole Bartlett Smith

Carrie Nicole Bartlett Smith, 21, of 721 Deer Trail, Owensboro, died Thursday, August 15, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Daviess County on October 24, 1980 the daughter of Michael W. Bartlett and Terri Lynn Mayes Durbin.

She was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church. She enjoyed roller skating, watching movies, flower gardening and spending time with her family, especially her daughter.

Survivors include a daughter, Kendra Smith, at home; her parents, Michael Wayne Bartlett and Terri Lynn Mayes Durbin, both of Owensboro; her step-grandmother, Diane Bartlett of Livermore; her great-grandmother, Vera Dean Rhineburger of Owensboro; two brothers, Scotty Wayne Bartlett and Aaron Michael Bartlett, both of Owensboro; a sister, Casey Mae Bartlett of Owensboro; two nephews; two nieces; several uncles and aunts; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Farrell Isenburg. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2002 and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
