Caroyn Starkes Fenwick

Carolyn Starks Fenwick of Owensboro on June 10, 2010, and after a lengthy illness, went to be with her Lord. Carolyn passed away with her family at her bedside at Owensboro Medical Health System. Born June 21, 1939 in Olmstead, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late James A. Starks and Zada A. Miller Starks. A member of Southside Church of Christ, she enjoyed being with her family, working in her garden, and the company of the family Yorkie, Tillie Carol. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Sue Ellen Starks and Dorothy Nesmith.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, C. W. "Bill" Fenwick; her daughter Jennifer Stinnett and her husband Roger; her sister, Nancye Kelley; her brother, James M. Starks and his wife Peggy; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 12:00 noon Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Monday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Humane Society, 3101 West Second Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.
