Carolyn Von Lehman

September 30, 1926 — November 9, 2008

Carolyn Von Lehman, 82 of 2115 Sheridan Place, Owensboro, passed away on Sunday November 9, 2008 at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. to the late J. R. and Ruby Casebier McCandless. She was a homemaker and had also worked at the Owensboro Housing Authority. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, enjoyed golfing and was a former member of the Owensboro Country Club. She had been on the Board of Directors of the Owensboro-Daviess Co. Public Library and had been a volunteer at the library having helped in the "Reading for the Blind". She was a graduate of Georgetown College, and had been a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority, and a homecoming queen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William N. Von Lehman in April of 1996.

She is survived by a son, Steve Von Lehman and wife Kathy of Russellville, a daughter, Lynn Hudgins of Lexington, three grandchildren, Kristen Von Lehman of Russellville, and Clayton and Joseph Hudgins, both of Lexington.

Memorial services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday, November 11, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
