Carolyn Frances Blandford Medley

Carolyn Frances Blandford Medley, 63, of Owensboro, died Monday, January 30, 2006 at her home. Born in Owensboro on January 6, 1943, she graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School, attended Brescia College, and was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral. Her father, George L. Blandford and her sister, Juliet Marie Blandford, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, William Meigs OBryan Medley her sons, Michael D. Medley of Atlanta and William M. Medley, Jr. and his wife Rachel, and her three granddaughters, Olivia Grace Medley, Juliet Claire Medley, and Sophia Meigs Medley, all of Roswell, GA; her daughter, Cecilia Medley Meland and her husband Ernest, and her three grandsons, Ernest L. Meland III, William Medley Meland, and John Francis Meland, all of Charlotte NC; her mother, Mary Allene Blandford Keller of Owensboro; her sisters, Shirley Blandford Wink of Owensboro and Elizabeth Blandford Crowe of Bowling Green; her brothers, G. Edward Blandford of Owensboro and Darrell G. Blandford of Austin, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass is at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen Cathedral. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery
