Carolyn S. Jacobs

Carolyn S. Jacobs, 67, of Philpot, passed away Friday, May 29, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born June 4, 1958, to the late Claude and Maryann Evans.

Carolyn was known affectionately as a dedicated military wife, a role she embraced with pride and resilience. Her commitment to her family was unwavering, and she found great joy in spending time with those she loved.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, John Jacobs; daughter, Claudia Renee Jacobs; and brother, Michael Evans.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kim Payne (Brandon); sister, Sharon Brown (Darrell); grandchildren, Makayla Jones, Bladen Jones, Kelsy Payne and Kaylee Payne.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
